The Torbay Development Agency (TDA) is a public / private sector partnership created to ensure the regeneration and future sustainability of Torbay, for the benefit of those people living, working and visiting the area. We employ a dedicated and professional team, who lead on major projects and initiatives which will benefit the people and businesses of Torbay.

Established by Torbay Council in 2004 the Agency has responsibility for five distinct activity areas, which together represent the drive for a sustainable economic future for Torbay, for more information on each of these activities please follow the links listed below:

Regeneration: Delivering a programme of capital projects with distinct benefits for the local economy
Business Support: Providing business advice and practical assistance for businesses at all levels and in all sectors
Community Support: Assisting various community organisations and initiatives with practical support to enable them to achieve their objectives

Supporting local businesses and helping them to grow is a key priority for Torbay and the Torbay Development Agency.

The Torbay Development Agency has developed a series of business support programmes designed to equip local businesses with a greater understanding of business issues as well as to stimulate ideas for business improvement, development and growth.
